Dr. Christine Marie Cocchiola, DSW, LCSW, is the Founder of the Coercive Control Consulting Institute, a clinician, educator, coach, and survivor. A tenured social work professor and lifelong advocate, she’s dedicated to helping protective parents and professionals understand and address coercive control—the foundation of all abuse. Through her courses, coaching, and advocacy, Dr. C empowers survivors and advances legislation to protect adult and child victims of coercive control.
