Dr. Chiti Parikh
Dr. Chiti Parikh is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Integrative Health and Wellbeing Program at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and is a trailblazer in the world of integrative health and wellbeing. As the Executive Director, Dr. Parikh combines cutting-edge Western medicine with the ancient wisdom of Eastern traditions. With a passion for yoga and meditation that started in her early years growing up in India, she embarked on a solo spiritual journey through Southeast Asia, deepening her knowledge of Eastern medicine.
A valedictorian graduate from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Dr. Parikh's thirst for knowledge led her to become an Alpha Omega Alpha scholar at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Completing her internal medicine residency at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, she is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine, with additional training in Functional Medicine, Medical Acupuncture, and Ayurveda.
Dr. Parikh's approach to patient care goes beyond the physical. She takes into account the psychological, spiritual, and social well-being of her patients, providing a truly holistic experience. Her expertise in integrative medicine has led her to co-found Integrative Health and Wellbeing, a leading center at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. This groundbreaking program empowers patients and employees to prevent and manage chronic conditions through modalities such as acupuncture, meditation, yoga, nutrition, psychotherapy, and reiki.
